OUR CENTER

Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Harrison is located in the historic town of Corydon, Indiana (the first state capital of Indiana), and is not your typical nursing and rehabilitation center. It is a place where independence is encouraged and success is expected.

No expense has been spared in designing the ultimate healthcare environment for patients, residents and our staff. The layout is clean and efficient, allowing easy access to the dining room, rehabilitation rooms, lawns, patios and other living areas.

Our center has won awards in annual family satisfaction surveys consecutively since 2007. In 2009, we received My InnerView’s Excellence in Action award in both customer and employee satisfaction categories, something very few centers accomplish.

The little things make living at our center such a positive experience. For example, a special "Table for Two" is offered for the spouse of any patient joining us for a meal. Companionship at mealtime is important, so this program was designed so spouses would enjoy joining their loved ones during mealtime.
